Beeswax pastilles (Yellow)
Beeswax is a natural wax produced in the bee hive of honey bees of the genus Apis. Chemically, beeswax consists of mainly esters of fatty acids and various long-chain alcohols. Yellow beeswax is the crude product obtained from the honeycomb. It is not bleached. A German study found beeswax to be superior to similar barrier creams such as mineral oil-based creams and petroleum jelly. Beeswax is used in lip balms and hand and body creams.
Cocoa Butter
Cocoa butter contains Vitamin E & is rich in minerals. It is extracted from cacao seeds, also known as cocoa beans. Cocoa butter is a natural emollient, which can help to soften and protect skin from drying. It contains a number of different antioxidants covering a wide range of free radicals that may lead to premature aging.
Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil ( Cocoas nucifera)
The flesh of the coconut is rich in emollient fat and yields a white, sweetly-scented, super-moisturizing oil. Coconut oil is solid at room temperature but easily melts on the skin. The consistency of coconut oil helps to bind and emulsify natural formulations where no chemical emulsifiers are desireable.
Grapefruit Extract (Citrus paradisi)
Grapefruit extract has a fresh, sweet, sharp and citrusy aroma. It is used as a natural preservative.
Grapeseed Oil
Grape seed oil is a light, orderless natural oil derived from expellerpressed Italian and French grape seeds. It is an emollient that imparts a rich, silky luster to the skin. It is rich in vitamins, minerals and linoleic acid (an essential fatty acid). Grape seed oil absorbs easily into the skin.
Shea Butter
Shea butter is expressed from the seed pits of the African butter tree. It helps in nourishing the skin with Vitamin A, E and F. Shea butter contains fatty acids which help in retaining the skin moisture and maintaining skin elasticity.
GOOSE BALM
Organic extra virgin Coconut oil, beeswax pastilles, and USP menthol crystals.
Lip Balm
Organic extra virgin Coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, beeswax pastilles, Vitamin E, and essential oils.
Mineral Makeup
Broken Coconut makeup is simple and only contains friendly, high quality, ingredients that are cosmetic grade, and FDA approved. Our mineral makeup is handcrafted right here in Pennsylvania. We do not use micronized minerals and there is no “watering down” with unnecessary fillers. INGREDIENTS: Mica, Sericite mica, Magnesium myristate, kaolin clay, zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, rice powder. Some eye shadows may have jojoba oil or shimmer mica.

Free of talc & corn starch. Talc and corn starch are not necessary in mineral makeup formulations. They are inexpensive fillers that are now considered known irritants causing rashes, rosacea and cancer.
Free of bismuth oxy chloride. Bismuth oxy chloride is a binder and a by-product of lead and copper processing. It is considered an irritant, causing itching, rashes and acne, and can clog your pores.
Free of parabens. Parabens are petroleum-based chemicals and are used as preservatives to extend the shelf life of cosmetics, personal care & skin care products. Parabens are a known irritant causing allergic reactions and a leading cause of contact dermatitis. Parabens have been linked to organ system toxicity, cancer and neurological and developmental disorders.
NO Nanoparticles are particles that are so small, they are measured in billionths of a meter (nanometers). A nanoparticle is defined as anything between 1-100 nanometers in diameter. Many cosmetic companies use them because they "fill" the microscopic crevices in the skin and glide over the skin smoothly. Unfortunately, the nemesis is a serious health risk when inhaled or absorbed into the body, especially to those who suffer from bronchial conditions.
Micronized ingredients are measured in millionths of a meter (microns or micrometers) making a micron 1000 times larger than a nanometer. Most mineral make-up companies, conscious of the dangers of nanoparticles, claim to use a median particle size of 12-15 microns or higher (12,000-15,000 nanometers and up).
No synthetic fragrances. Synthetic fragrances are considered a potent neurotoxin, meaning it is toxic to the brain. Synthetic fragrances are considered one of the top 5 allergens in the world.
We do not use parabens, synthetic alcohols, honeysuckle, or any synthetic chemical preservatives. Keep our Lip Balms, Essential Oils, and Goose Balm in a cool location away from any unfavorable conditions. Broken Coconut products are made in the USA.
